I have moved more times than I care to mention, and I can tell you that not one of those moves was as smooth and simple as the move with Orange Truck Movers. And this move was across a border!

From the very first phone call, I knew something was different about this company. Andrew spent 45 minutes with me answering all my questions, and not once did I feel like I was being "sold".

Along the way communication was excellent. The moving team was incredible! Professional, polite and the most efficient movers I have seen. What took another company 4 hours to do, these guys did in 2.5 hrs! Not one scratch. Nothing broken or missing.

When I say that this moving experience was perfect, I mean 10 out of 10. No mistakes. Exceeded expectations and helped make what is a stressful couple of days easy peasy!

This five-star review is very well deserved. My wife and I were sweating the details of an upcoming US-to-Canada cross border move, and thankfully we found Orange Truck Movers who sounded like they really knew the ropes when it came from moving from one country to the other, and so I gave them a call.

Andrew answered and was generous with his time in explaining the general timeline of how things would work, and we confirmed our dates. Shortly afterward I heard from George who became our general coordinator for the move from then on out, and he was always patient and generous with his time as well as my wife and I had many questions along the way. He helped us through the initial inventory process, joined us for a video walkthrough of our house and belongings, and finally to coordinate our moving crew led by the fantastic Andrei.

Andrei, Sam and Cam were prompt in their arrival and professional and courteous throughout the packing and load out process. Nothing was missed and every detail was accounted for. Andrei drove the truck up from our home base of Washington DC and to our destination of Montréal, Québec, driving through the border with us and finally unloading again together with Ilya. Again, they were prompt and courteous and really took the time to handle the move in to our wishes (always checking to see where we wanted items, and also helping to move and arrange some furniture). We did a final walk through and double-check that nothing was left on the truck, and after some pleasant conversation they were off once more and we could focus on unpacking and getting settled in to our new home.

I can't say enough good things about Orange Truck Movers and would highly recommend their services, especially if you're going cross-border for the first time. Thank you again, George and Andrei, and to Sam, Cam and Ilya!

I used Orange Truck Movers to move from Southern California to Montreal, and I had a good overall experience with Orange Truck Movers. Their quote tool was easy to use and they gave me a very reasonable price compared to other companies, especially since Orange Truck Movers handles the customs.
Through factors out of either my or the company's control, there were some delays in transit, but the company was transparent and communicative and made sure I knew what was going on. As somebody who has moved cross country 5 times now, I think it's unreasonable to expect things to go perfectly every time. What is more important is to work with people who are honest, professional, and will make you feel right, and Andrew and Orange Truck Movers was exactly that. Regardless of any issues, there were clear communication and timelines, and I ultimately received all of my things without much issue.

Every once in a while some one goes above and beyond your expectations. This was our experience with Orange Truck Movers. The team from the first phone call to the completed move was the best experience we have ever had regarding a move.

Orange Truck Movers took a fairly complicated international move and made it a seamless proposition. They communicated each day leading up to the actual move and once they arrived at our property, they were polite, professional, and made sure that every piece of furniture was in good order.

But the real test is when things don't go to plan. When confronted with a piece of furniture that was proving difficult to move into a room, they calmly assessed the situation, devised a plan, and was able to successfully move a large piece of furniture that most movers would have just said could not be placed in the desired location. That is the difference between a professional experienced team and the average companies that competes on price not quality.

One of the best moving services I've had to work with in NYC, especially moving from US to Canada.

Andrew was super communicative, provided quick quotes, worked around my schedule, and would always follow up if there were any issues.

They even stored my things for a bit of an extra cost, and delivered it at a later date since I was still figuring out my lease.

All the movers came on time and packed my things away quickly. They were friendly and patient despite heavy parking/traffic in front of my building the day of.

It only took 1-2 hours for a mattress and large sectional couch. It was a 1 bedroom move.

They also provided a COI promptly that my apartment signed without any problems. Very professional, and I would definitely work with them again.

Andrew and his entire team were great right from the start. We had a long distance cross border move (NJ ->British Columbia) so we had a lot of moving pieces (timeline logistics, customs logistics, etc to name a few) additionally we also needed help shipping one of the two cars. Orange Truck helped with everything - they were cordial, professional, communicative and helped ease the stress that comes with a move! We didn’t have any issues getting in touch with them at any point during the process - they kept their word from start to finish in all aspects. Much recommended, would use them again!

Andrew, Andrei, Sam and George managed my somewhat complex move from PA to Toronto, ON, Canada really well! Very reliable communication throughout, good discounts, always willing to help explain and clarify things, and extremely punctual. Their work time estimates were on point too. Moving day itself was very good, with me having to do near zero work myself. Everything was reliably and safely packed, and delivery was fast and smooth. Very smooth and pleasant experience overall! They helped us move all our belongings from New York to Toronto, including packing and unpacking. They also helped us navigate Canadian customs, and it was convenient that we didn't have to meet them at the border (not the case for all the moving companies we got quotes from). These guys made one of my hardest days great. Wildly professional, efficient and fairly priced!

I needed to move from the Boston area to Montreal and had thought I'd use a UHaul, but soon realized that the furniture was just too heavy for me too move on my own. I called Orange Truck a few days before the move, thinking it might be impossible on short notice. Andrew and George were so helpful! After I completed the online inventory, they got right back to me and said they could fit my stuff on with one other small load. They communicated every step of the way, helped me complete the customs paperwork correctly, and wrapped my items very carefully. When there was a slight delay at my closing, they went the extra mile to make sure the delivery could still happen. Everyone was kind and friendly throughout. Great guys, excellent service! I had great experience with this moving company. I needed to move a large couch and a chair from Manhattan to Brooklyn and contacted them late in the evening. They responded promptly, letting me know it could be done the next day - very impressive!

Both the pickup and drop-off locations had no elevators and narrow staircases, but the movers clearly knew what they were doing. They managed to carry my couch up four flights of stairs quickly.

My experience bringing my household goods from Massachusetts to Montreal with Orange Truck Movers was great. Everything happened very fast, and Andrew was in contact daily to ensure a smooth process. If you're looking for a full service cross country move don't look any further, Andre was super amazing not only did they move my stuff, I asked them for their help to move me and my dog as well, my dog is too chonky for flights and trains, they moved us as well Andrey who drove us was super nice and we enjoyed some really delicious Ukrainian snacks along the way. EDITED: after posting this review, George from their dispatch reached back out to me, and to apologize for the negative experience. While they were not able to undo or directly fix some of the issues I faced with my move, they did work with me to put things right, including by offering me a full refund, and a guarantee that if I ever use their service again, they will be more careful to avoid issues like this.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day or bad luck. But instead of making moving easier, they simply added to my stress and frustration.

Price - very reasonable, and well below what most other moving companies quoted
Ease of booking - could not have been better. A flat rate estimate based on the type of apartment I'm moving out of is a thousand times better than companies that require an itemized list, and all I had to do to confirm was send a quick email. They were even easy to reach when I realized after the fact that I had accidentally set the booking for the wrong day and were able to fix it, no questions asked.
Customer Service - George and Andrew, both of whom I spoke to at different times to handle the booking and my concerns were both very friendly, polite, and responsive. When something was damaged in the move, they were happy and quick to help me and to offer me a discount on my final cost that was equal to the cost of the broken furniture.

Great service and easy set-up. Communication was great and not pushy or salesy. The onsite moving team was very efficient, attentive, and careful of my belongings. I moved into a walk-up and they were very positive and had no complaints. They arrived on time and were professional and efficient. They were also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Orange Truck Movers.
