I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day or bad luck. But instead of making moving easier, they simply added to my stress and frustration.ProsPrice - very reasonable, and well below what most other moving companies quotedEase of booking - could not have been better. A flat rate estimate based on the type of apartment I'm moving out of is a thousand times better than companies that require an itemized list, and all I had to do to confirm was send a quick email. They were even easy to reach when I realized after the fact that I had accidentally set the booking for the wrong day and were able to fix it, no questions asked.Customer Service - George and Andrew, both of whom I spoke to at different times to handle the booking and my concerns were both very friendly, polite, and responsive. When something was damaged in the move, they were happy and quick to help me and to offer me a discount on my final cost that was equal to the cost of the broken furniture.Cons:1) the moving team showed up more than an hour later than the agreed upon arrival window (should have been there between 9 and 10, did not arrive until 11:15)2) they were not careful with my belongings, over-stacking the dollies which caused them to tip, dropping boxes including ones marked "fragile" on multiple occasions, and stacking boxes labeled as "heavy" on top of boxes labeled "fragile." They used a couple of boxes to prop open the building door while they moved in and out and then left them there when they drove away and I had to retrieve them. The headboard of my bed was broken beyond repair (though at least they apologized immediately for that and provided money off the final payment to compensate). After they departed, I discovered that several items that I watched get loaded were missing.3) one of the two movers was on the phone almost constantly during the entire move, and both took a long time to return from the truck on each trip, so the move took much longer than I expected (both based on the estimate I was given and on comparison to similar previous moves). Which would barely be a blip on the radar, but for the fact that the company charges hourly.4) After I paid, the good customer service stopped. I reached out about the items I was missing, to see if they had been left in the truck and if there was any way to get them back if so, and was told that they would check and call me back. I never heard back from them.

These guys busted their butts like machines! They did a big move for me and was so nice. Anything I asked of them they did during this stressful time. They were so professional, strong, hardworking, fast and I was super amazed how they were able to bring things in out that were huge without damaging walls or breaking anything. I have never had such a great experience in all the hundreds of moves I had u til I contracted them. Awesome pricing and can’t believe they did it all in one day. The guys, both Andrey’s, Roman, Slavic, Omar, all of them were so nice and pleasant. I couldn’t honestly be more happier with their service. Don’t think twice about using anyone else. Others just charge an arm or a leg or destroy things or work with no care. This company is a godsend. They did everything A-Z for me. That’s the kind of move I want as we have enough stress to deal with. They were the best part of moving. I’m so very grateful.

The best moving experience I could imagine! From start of communication to finish of move - the team was so helpful and straightforward. No hidden fees they charge by time yet still work efficiently but with care. They were able to accommodate two stops during my move. I will pick Orange Truck movers again for my next move. My move started at 10am and finished up at 10pm, we had many large or heavy items. I had a suitcase with 200lbs of kettlebells inside, and they had it down the stairs before I had the chance to suggest unpacking it. This move was a full day battle, and the moving crew fought until the end.To other people looking for a mover I would recommend a company that has a competitive flat hourly rate, with a reputation for doing good work. (like Orange Truck). I would avoid Itemized moves. They require more work to plan for each item, and you are more likely to end up with hidden costs at the end. I think a flat hourly rate is the most ethical and fair method to run a business like this.In addition to the crew putting in their best effort, management was extremely professional and helpful.

I’ve moved out of New York to the West Coast and had a fantastic experience with Orange Truck Movers. Alex was my point of contact and he explained in detail all the stages from preparation to actual dates of transporting and unloading my family's personal property, including a car. Communication was clear and professional, the date was scheduled and there were no delays. I met my moving team of 3 workers in Las Vegas to check the truck and car. They did a phenomenal job of packing my high-priced items and took extra steps to protect them during the several days of cross-country driving. I’d highly recommend OTM to anyone who is thinking about a long-distance move.

This was my second move with Orange Truck, and the service was superb. The movers were extremely respectful, careful, organized and diligent with all our belongings and completed everything in a timely manner. (We had a lot of stuff!) The business owner was also very communicative and made sure we had the proper COI forms needed for all buildings, and that we were happy with the service after it was done. I also called around for other quotes before hiring them, and they are indeed the best and most fair price you can get in the NYC area! I'm so happy with how everything turned out, I'll for sure be using them again.

This is my 23rd move and I have never had this great a moving experience! From the initial contact with Andrey to the end with Igor and his team, everything was seamless. Though their quote was more than reasonable, I originally hired another company who was a little less, and three days before my move, I trusted my gut that the Terms and Conditions of that company were a money grab. I contacted Andrey and he quickly moved their schedule around and made it happen, again, with only three days' notice, and he brought me boxes, packing paper and tape at no charge two days later as well as providing blankets and more supplies on moving day, all at no extra charge. Igor and his team were professional, extremely organized, competent and so attentive to protecting my furniture and ensuring my satisfaction. I can't recommend this company enough!
