As moving is a service sector, you may choose to express your gratitude to the movers with a gratuity if they perform exceptionally well. It’s important to note that while gratuities are not obligatory, they are certainly welcomed by our team. On average, our crews generally receive tips ranging from 10% to 15% of the final bill. However, if your movers went above and beyond, feel free to leave a higher tip. Conversely, if the service didn’t meet your expectations, there’s no obligation to leave a tip at all. We also appreciate a review of your experience with us on Google, Yelp, or Facebook.
We understand that moving costs can be high, and sometimes, tipping may not be feasible within your budget. No need to worry. If you enjoyed our service but aren’t able to leave a tip, a wonderful alternative is to share your positive experience by leaving a review on platforms like Yelp, Google, or Facebook. Your kind words or a referral to friends and family mean a lot to us! Also a heartfelt thank you means a lot to the team too.

We love help! The best way to help us is to provide clear guidance on what items are being moved, what stays, and the designated locations for each item. Ensuring a safe environment for your loved ones and our team by keeping children and pets out of harm’s way is greatly appreciated. If you wish to participate in lifting, we encourage assistance with one-person items like boxes and miscellaneous items. Unfortunately we are unable to have you ride along in our trucks for liability reasons. Rest assured, we have you and all your belongings covered when moving them to your new home and they will be there safe and sound when you arrive.

We will run all potential additional costs by you first for approval – there are no surprises with our transparent pricing.
For local moves, yes! With long-haul moves, we are not allowed to move live plants due to State regulations. It can be difficult to secure plants safely in the back of the truck and motion and temperature extremes can be especially traumatic and stressful on a plant. They also tend to take up more space in the moving truck to ensure they are safely transported. Due to this, the movers may ask you to sign a liability waiver before moving your plants and there may be more trips needed which could incur additional costs.
We will run all potential additional costs by you first for approval – there are no surprises with our transparent pricing.

Absolutely! Let us share our best practices to protect your current and new home:
We consider local moves to meet the below criteria:
– One of the locations is within the 5 boroughs of New York City
– Total travel time between point A (pick up) and point B (drop off) is less than 2 hours.
If the travel time between point A and Point B is greater than two hours we consider it a long-haul move and can connect with you for our customized flat-rate pricing.
Please note we also move to Canada and anywhere across the US.
Absolutely not! We only offer exclusive express long-distance moving service. We will not share your move with anyone else’s belongings or deadlines. We have you covered, straight from point A to point B.
Why does this matter?
By default most moving companies, as required by the Department of Transportation, provide basic coverage of $.60 cents per pound per article.
What gaps does that leave for you as the client? If your new flat-screen TV was broken in a move, basic coverage would only take into consideration the weight of the TV and not the value for a new TV. 50 lbs x $.60 per pound = $30 reimbursement.
We offer FREE Additional Damage Coverage up to $2,000 as an extra form of protection for your home and items to ensure your belongings are covered.
We allocate up to $2,000 per move to repair, replace, or provide a cash settlement for any items damaged by our movers during the moving process. It’s important to us to go above and beyond the what the average moving company offers to ensure your peace of mind.
For items that are marked as a “total loss”, we stick to the $.60/lb or offer a maximum of $2,000 depending on the circumstance of the damage. We highly recommend buying additional valuation on high-value items such as artwork or antiques by going through a 3rd party insurance company and choosing the level of liability and deductible levels.
All furniture items are padded and wrapped, before we pick it up or move it. That means that there will always be a layer of padding between your furniture and any walls, railings, or door jams that the furniture will be moved through.
This ensures the protection of your belongings as well as your current and new home.
Additionally we protect floors that can be easily damaged by laying pads in high traffic areas and spots where we will be dropping off boxes.
We have all the logistics covered, so you don’t have to think about it.
In the unlikely event that something does get damaged or broken along the way due to our negligence or a mistake, then we do everything in our power to fix or replace it to your satisfaction (we do everything in our power to make it right).
Still, there are a few exceptions to this rule:
We will base settlements on the purchase price or the current market value (current depreciated value) of the item.
ASAP! We will reach out to you within 72 hours or less to discuss our solution for any damages.
The state-required response time for a moving company to get the matter resolved is 90 days but we think that’s just way too long.
We don’t drag the process on in the hopes that you will give up, we handle it quickly and efficiently so you can focus on your new beginning and home.
For peace of mind, we suggest personally transporting any of your belongings such as jewelry, cash, prescription medicine, and other small valuables.
With particularly valuable larger items, such as antique furniture, family heirlooms, valuable artwork, or items with significant sentimental or monetary value, please inform us before we start the moving process. This ensures we can handle these items with the care and attention they deserve.
Yes! At your request we can provide a COI after your reservation is made, at no charge.
There are a lot of individual factors that come into play when moving. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us, we’d be happy to chat more.
